Zurich, 2 September 2026. Exeon Analytics is strengthening its management team with two new roles: Wayne Jennings takes over as Chief Solutions Officer, responsible for the technical customer lifecycle, while Johan Roman assumes responsibility for sales, partners and go-to-market as Chief Revenue Officer. The expansion falls in the company’s anniversary year – ten years after its founding as an ETH Zurich spin-off – and creates the structure for the next growth phase: scaling Exeon.UEBA, introduced in January 2026; a module for securing AI agents announced for the fourth quarter of 2026; and the expansion of its geographic presence beyond the DACH region.

Exeon Analytics develops security analytics for organizations in regulated industries – from financial services providers and healthcare organizations to critical infrastructure. As the product portfolio grows from a network detection and response solution into a broader analytics platform, and as the company expands geographically, the requirements placed on its leadership structure change as well.

Wayne Jennings: technical depth across the entire customer lifecycle

Wayne Jennings joined Exeon Analytics in July 2024, where he initially led Support and Engineering. As Chief Solutions Officer, he will be responsible for the technical customer lifecycle – from pre-sales and proof of concept through implementation to long-term technical account management – and, therefore, for the technical enablement of partners. Before joining Exeon Analytics, he was a Senior Manager in Cybersecurity & Privacy at PwC Switzerland, focusing on threat intelligence and incident response. Prior to that, he spent eleven years at Open Systems, including acting as Head of Digital Operations, where he was responsible for building and scaling the Security Operations Center. Wayne Jennings holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.

Johan Roman: commercial growth and EMEA expansion

Johan Roman brings more than 15 years of experience in commercial growth, go-to-market strategy, strategic partnerships, and marketing across the cybersecurity and technology industries. As Chief Revenue Officer of Exeon Analytics, he is responsible for sales, marketing, and channel partnerships. His focus will be on expanding the partner network and driving growth in new markets in EMEA. Before joining Exeon Analytics, he spent over 12 years at Kudelski Security, a global cybersecurity and MDR provider, most recently as Senior Director of Global Alliances, Technology Partnerships & Marketing and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. He built and scaled commercial activities across Europe and North America, aligning sales, marketing, product and partner ecosystems to drive sustainable revenue growth. Johan Roman holds an M.Sc. in Communication Systems Engineering from EPFL and a Master in European Business from ESCP Business School.

As Gregor Erismann, CEO of Exeon Analytics says:

Wayne and Johan bring exactly the combination we need for the years ahead: technical depth close to the customer and experience in scaling go-to-market internationally. We are growing from a single product into a portfolio while entering new markets at the same time. That requires a leadership structure able to carry both – and people who understand our customers and our culture. Both know the European security market from hands-on experience.

Next growth phase: identities, AI agents and new markets

The expansion of the management team is tied to three priorities for the coming months. First, scaling Exeon.UEBA: introduced in January 2026, the solution complements Exeon.NDR with the analysis of user, entity and application behavior, addressing identity-based attacks that conventional security solutions often fail to detect. Monitoring business-critical applications such as SAP is meeting particularly strong demand in the market. Second, a module for detecting and securing AI agents, which will be available in the fourth quarter of 2026: autonomous agents with their own access rights operate in networks and enterprise applications much like users, yet are barely covered by existing security controls. Exeon Analytics is applying its machine learning-based approach to behavioral analytics to this new category of actors. Third, geographic expansion: building on its established position in the DACH region, Exeon Analytics is expanding its presence in further EMEA markets – through a growing network of distributors, integrators and managed security service providers.

What all three have in common reflects a principle Exeon Analytics has defined since its founding: security analytics without black boxes or blind spots, deployable on premises, in private cloud environments or air-gapped. For organizations subject to NIS2, DORA or data sovereignty requirements, maintaining control over where and how data is stored and processed remains a critical selection criterion.
