Press Release - Zurich, January 28, 2021
Exeon is expanding its Executive Management with an experienced Chief Marketing Officer. Gregor Erismann, who will take up the position on February 1, 2021, was previously a member of the Executive Board and CMO of the digital agency Namics. With this move, Exeon strengthens its Go-to-Market with the aim of becoming Europe's leading provider of Network Detection & Response solutions.
Zurich-based cybersecurity company Exeon Analytics is adding a Chief Marketing Officer to its management team. The company, which was founded in 2016 as a spin-off from ETH, is thus reinforcing its claim to become Europe's leading provider of solutions for the early detection of cyber attacks. Already today, internationally active companies rely on Exeon's solution ExeonTrace, which uses artificial intelligence to detect and combat cyber threats at an early stage.
Gregor Erismann, who takes up the position on February 1, had been with Namics since 2014 - since 2016 as Chief Market Officer and member of the Executive Board. In this role, he was responsible for the Go-to-Market in Germany and Switzerland, the acquisition of new customers, the further development of the partner network and the establishment of new services. After Namics became part of the Dentsu Aegis Network in 2018, Erismann also led the integration of Namics into the agency network.
Dr. David Gugelmann, founder and CEO of Exeon: "In recent years, with PostFinance, the logistics company Planzer and other well-known customers we have been able to win large, internationally active Swiss companies for Exeon . I am excited that we are now taking the next step in our Go-to-Market and am convinced that with Gregor Erismann's expertise in technology marketing, we will succeed in establishing ExeonTrace as Europe's leading network detection & response solution."
"Comprehensive cybersecurity is highly relevant for companies to maintain operations and protect sensitive data," says Gregor Erismann about his new role. "How Exeon supports companies with artificial intelligence to fend off cyber attacks and thus make the IT world more secure inspires and excites me. I am therefore very much looking forward to becoming part of the team and putting Exeon's growth plans into action."
